If that wont work try say a toyota tacoma..

They all use small diffs that you could easily modify and tig on new mounts should it be necessary. BTW lets see pics of what your doing this too..

Also, my parts guy fell thru so the search is still on..
Hey, thanks for the suggestion. I've been searching for those diffs, but still have not found one that runs under the passanger side.

Now that you mentioned that -you know what I may be saying-, I read my post and it may not make that much sense. I was too excited at the moment of writing it.

For those reading and willing to do your input: what I am looking for is a transfer case that runs under the pssanger side, and that hopefully it can be mathced with a 4L65 trany, and that hopefully can handle ~600HP.

My best option so far is the Cadillac SRX t-case:

About pics of my project, I still don't much too show, but it is basically the same as the following: (enjoy)

AWD Camaro.

Also, I am still considering modifing the 149 t-case to work at the right side of the car:

That is so awesome. I love awd. Gotta be a reason Porsche, Lamborghini and Bugatti use it.

Back in the AWD business.. Actually picked up a front diff out of an 04 SSS. Going to make it fit. Also have the 4L65 and the NVG149. Will post pics of the front diff install as soon as i get it buttoned up. Work is slow going right now though.. I have about 5 projects that im working on and the truck is the last on the list.. Will be done before winter strikes..

im building my brothers 08 crewcab right now. I removed the orginal tranny my friend converted it to a 4wd with shiftkit and servos. I found(lol) the front differential to an 02 awd escalade with transfercase. I took the truck to mex and got the differential ears off a doner 07 escalade chassis and were welded up. Ill get pics tomorrow, everything is mounted and ready to go..Just have to pick up modified front driveshaft with bigger ujoins and either buy a NNBS transfercase speed sensor or get the original pigtail for the transfercase..

I hate to sound retarded, but why do you want awd?
Why dont you buy a 4 wd or A wd truck and be done?
