Default valve spring question

I am doing a cam swap on my 08 5.3 this weekend. I bought a gm hot cam 218/227 112lsa, my question is the kit comes with ls6 springs. from what I have read on the forum our heads are ls6 heads, so would the factory springs hold up or do I need to go ahead and install the ls6's while im in there. just wondering

So .525 lift. The stock springs aren't good up to that. You need to use the LS6 springs. I have those on my 216/220 .525/.532.
All LSX engines can swap heads, but there are still different types. These trucks come out with probably 3 or 4 different types of heads. Main difference being the compression.

You'll also need to get it custom tuned.

I'd rather run it on a stock tune than a superchips until you get the custom tune.
