Default Two piece driveshaft conversion?

I'm going to finally made the two piece driveshaft conversion on my truck. My question is that I'm going to buy the one that comes out on the nbs extended cab....my Sierra is an nnbs do I need to rebalance the used driveshaft or what do you guys recommend?

some truck info would work really well

as for my truck the 1st time i just installed it an had no issues.

for the cost no harm in a high speed balance!
are you anywhere near driveshaft specialist in san antonio? cause they can do that
I'm doing the swap this week too, except I ordered a brand new shaft from DSS

im also wanting to do this i have a crew cab nnbs. what truck do i get the 2 piece drive shaft off of?

The guys from the valley are using the two piece driveshaft from a nbs extended cab..like a 2004-06

Probably need to build a cross member to mount the carrier Bearing. Not sure if they are direct fit on length or what. Curious myself

Just did this swap this weekend. Driveline was out of a 2004 ext cab, new carrier bearing and u joints installed and just fabbed up a cross member from 1x3" rect tubing.
