Default TVS 1900 VVT Cam build..

Well my camshaft arrived today. I had a custom grind 218 580 intake, 228 605 exhaust on a 115 made. The lobe profile is new and top secret..j/k lol.. but I did mix the profiles between the exhaust and intake.

I got the TVS 1900 last week and new pistons should be here later this week so I can get the project started as soon as next week.

My current cam is just to big for my tastes in a daily driver 224/240 not sure of the lobe sep but I'd guess a 112. It makes great power up high but isn't real strong off idle through 3200... From there on it flys.. It will bark the tires on the 2-3 shift at almost 70...

The new build

.10 over pistons 10.25 compression maybe a bit more...
Stock Rods
Stock Crank
Ported Heads
1 5/8's headers
TVS 1900 2.8 upper pulley.

I'm not sure if I should keep the current stock torque converter. It doesn't work well with my current combo but with the TVS it might be ok. But I hate to miss the opportunity while the engine is out to swap converters. I'm not aware of anyone making converters yet either. I'd like to go with a PI and something less than a 2.00 str and a bunch lighter...

Hopefully these mods should get me into the 13's...

It's a VMax L76

1 5/8's vs. 1 3/4.... not sure what I was thinking when I was typing that. I've got 1 3/4"s....
