Yeah, i have full exhaust and a cam and i get better gas mileage than when i was stock. of course this is keeping outta the throttle (hard to do) and obviously with tuning.

Yeah I know it would help mpg, but my concern would be when I hook up to the trailer and haul something about 2500 or 3000 lbs, with that much pull I'm sure the mpg would be bad, I have hauled 4000, 2000 in truck and 2000 on small trailer and got about 12.7 mpg, I'm afraid with a cam it would be more like 10 or so, and I could be wrong.....

I would stay with the vvt if you were to cam it, you can get more power, better drive-ability with a smalller grind. Thats the beauty of vvt!

I'm thinking about hitting mine with some FI nice races with the G8. I love those cars. I wish I could convince my wife that she wants one. Oh well; those races remind me of my run against a late-model (05-09) Mustang GT, except I was never ahead. My bumper was at his shoulder at 70-75mph. Good times

I've raced a couple of those before and never was behind! I revel alot so I see several people to pick on that don't know bout these 6.2's! And it's pretty fun seeing them in the rearview wondering what just happened!

Yeah it would have been neck and neck if I didn't blow the tires off at the green light if I threw on some shorter, lighter tires I think it would be a real animal.
