will it cost me anything to take my truck in for a tsb? my truck has that clunking at the stop light problem that i read on here before.i think its a slip yoke greasing that it needs.

That depends on the TSB but if your truck is still under warranty that one shouldn't cost you anything.

^bingo.

as long as it applies and isnt out of a mileage range or anything. We still do recalls for steering shafts on 99-04 Xterras.

That problem takes me exactly 5 minutes to fix with an 11mm wrench, a hammer and a tube of HD grease. It's not worth going to the dealer for it unless they're going to give you a new yoke.

If your truck is still under 5yr-100,000 powertrain warranty it will cost you nothing. Yoke and u-joints are covered.
