I'm putting a 4L80e with a brake in my pickup, and using a bump box. Is there any way I can mount the brake and bump buttons on the spokes of the stock steering wheel, as close to the wheel as possible? I don't want to swap wheels if at all possible. Is there a solid point to mount something to under the trim on the spokes? Havent torn into the wheel yet, just wondering if anyone's done this before, before I go and tear something up lol. The arrows in the pic are pointing to where I'm wanting to mount the buttons if its possible. Thanks in advance.
I didn't go with the wheel mounted buttons because I didn't want to have cords wrapped around the wheel. I mounted my 2 buttons, one a latching button to activate reverse and the other the transbrake button in the trim piece under the steering column. Figured at least your hand is near the wheel.

I don't mind having the cords there. The guys working on it sent me a pic of how they had the buttons mounted, looks good to me. Tbh as long as it whistles to me and hauls ***, I'm not too picky lol
