ok im goin to be putting a bigger cooler on my truck, its an 09 gmc sierra 6.2 2wd cc, im jw if anybody knos what size the factory fittings are?? i bought a hayden cooler and was wondering if i could find a fitting that reduces down to the cooler size i have now.. and also are there any tips or tricks that anybody has to filling it up before or just connect it and run it then check fluid level?

 

let it get to operating temp then check it, add as needed.
what's the size of that Hayden cooler? where'd you get it? how much shipped if you dont mind?

hayden had been a round for a while i got it from the auto parts store (oreillys) which i work at so no shipping bc i work there and we keep there products stocked... i got it for bout 30 bucks instead of 55 so i bought it from there instead!! it says its good for towing up to an extra 5000 lbs its one of there high performance line its 3/4 thick 7-1/2" tall, 15-7/8 long, and a 12-1/8" core its the middle one of the three they offer in that line i looked at the biggest but i just had a feeling it may keep it good now but wayyy to cool in the winter so i went with this one.. it may not be the best but ive had really good luck with there products.. ive put some on before but this is goin on my new truck that i drive everyday and its no hot rod that if i mess up o well if you know what i mean just seein if anybody had any tips on doing them or just slap it and keep truckin
