TB converter will not fit in nnbs?

I think it is the converter. Does anyone have pictures of a tb converter?

well I looked at the rpo code it is a 4l60e for shure. No one has pictures of the tb converter so I can tell if I have the right one.

What didn't fit about it? post up a picture of the converter. Where did you buy it from?

I got it from aksz71 who got it from chevrolet all the way. the shaft seems like its hitting the back of the converter. will have pics in about 10min

i have an 08 5.3L w/ the 4L60E and i put on a TB 3000 verter from circle d. works great on my rig.

maybe this will help it is a dacco DCNF number on it says 03309

called daycco they said this converter is a b29 and that the tb converter is a b86

I looked online and there are different types of b29 converters. More than likely you got a 700-r4 converter.

Have you ever installed a torque converter before? Are you sure it isn't just user error.

i found out that a 700r4 converter wont fit a 4L60E.. PTC from alabama screwed up on that one, and the next few..
