TB converter will not fit in nnbs?

Default TB converter will not fit in nnbs?

well I bought a tb torque converter from a member here, went to put it on today and it wouldent fit. does anyone know why? It seems like my trans shaft is to long for the converter.

the 07-08 with the 4L60E-65E is the same as the older 4L60Es ya pushing and turning slighty as you push it in? you should only be able to barely fit your fingers behind the converter. did you hear it thump twice?

You don't have a 6l80e do you?

sorry I forgot to leave my info I have a 08 gmc I am pretty shure its a 4l60e. well thats what it looks like.

If it's a 4l60e variation it will fit. The new trucks should either have a 4l70e or a 6l80e(or at least that was my understanding). Check the RPO code for something like M30. I think that's the code for a 4l60e

the trans has the small axcess plates not the large dust cover. I think its a 4l60e has anyone here put a tb converter in a nnbs truck?

unsure about TB stalls but you buy a stall from other companys(yank, VIG, circle d and others) they are the same as the older trannys. if its a 4.8, 5.3 its a 60/65/70E all the same splines. 09 is th only time i THINK come with the 80E.
if you have a 6.0 it could e a 65E or an 80E im unsure! but anyways the stall should fit man

yeah it's a 5.3 with the 799 heads.

if its the 08 5.3 it has the 4L60E its the same tranny it should fit.
