Default Street Scene SS Bumper Cover

I just ordered mine and I was reading the install directions off of Street Scenes website and it would appear that the only thing holding these bumpers on is two sided tape and a couple screws each side from the fender liner. For those that have this cover how secure is it? Any pics from the install?

Pics?

What I want is something that will match my Grill to fill in that little hole in the top of the bumper.

This is my truck. I have found it for the straight louver grill, but I like this grill. 'm thinking of getting some expanded metal at the hardware store and getting it chromed.

I have never been a fan of that hole in the bumper. When mine was wrecked I switched out the chrome one with the hole to a black one without it. But this is what I was talking about. The directions say to remove the end caps and lower valence and secure to bumper bar with two sided tape and a few screws through the fender liner.

Yeah, just not a fan of the vertical fogs. Nice clean looking bumper cover otherwise. Maybe if it were vent holes there instead of lights...I don't know.

I'm not a fan of the hole either...I don't think it would look too bad if filled with something...maybe it will look hideous. Don't know till I try. In my mind it looks good, LOL.

You can make that a vent hole ir you want.

Mines been holding for two years with the 3 clips that hold the stock end covers to the metal inner bumper.

good to know. I just didnt like the idea of two sided tape being the main thing holding it on. The directions dont even mention the clips
