eBay is your friend for stock wires . They last at least 100k so why not put another set on . You couldn't pay me to run cheapie s from autozone . They suck , and break if you have to pull them off a time or two .

I'm just running the msd wires from the older trucks. They are a bit long, but they still don't touch the headers on mine.

You could header wrap the boot that's really close. Instead of the pipe just wrap that one boot

Zip ties work well

I change em every 15k bc it is life time warrenty on the wires and the plugs are 20.00 so i know when i race it, there is no spark issues. Plus im kind of retarded, and do things people call a waste but i dont drive my truck very much. It sits 5 days a week and sometimes for 2 weeks depending how im working. Yet when i get in it, i normally get a few wot passes in it just to make sure everything is alright
Hell i change my oil every 2200 miles, rotate my tires every 3k, and i run extra magnets in my trans pan along with 2 down the side of my oil filter

Man you sound almost as bad as me I changed every oil in he truck at 30k miles and the oil I run is a signature series from amsoil that's good for 25k miles but I change it very 5k miles. A clean running truck is a happy running truck.

I beat on my truck and it sees 6700rpm a lot. Id rather not have to worry about it. Next year im pulling the pan to check everything, change the oil pump and pickup tube o-ring. If i have any issues then im going back with something bigger
