So nobody has ever swapped a 4.8/5.3/6.0 into a 4.3 truck?

Thumbs up So nobody has ever swapped a 4.8/5.3/6.0 into a 4.3 NNBS truck?

Searched high and low...yet to find one single thread on somebody doing this on the newer trucks.

I have the complete 2011 4.3 truck and a complete NBS (Older ) 6.0 Engine/Harness/PCM.

Motor is already in the truck, bolted in, and just needs wiring up.

Figuring it's just a matter of repinning the ECM fuse block and using the 6.0 harness and PCM.

Is there anybody out there who's done it?

Thanks!

Shouldn't have to repin anything. Should all just plug in. Pcm will need to be flashed and a security relearn performed.

Ah. Edited.

So the truck that it is going into is a NNBS (58x). The drivetrain is an older style.

Thanks

It won't work that way. No one has a way to convert the 24X crank signal to 58X
