service stabilitrak/service traction control, why does this keep coming on?

Hmm something else to look into.. did u replace it yourself or took it to the dealer?
I disconnected my battery yesterday and nothing alarmed/popped up on the way home from work( about an hour drive 90% highway), but later i went somewhere and it came back almost as soon as i drove out. Seems almost to clear but the traction controllers light stays on, hoping its a loose connection.
Would having fresh tires on the back with half worn tires up front throw it off enough to set it off intermittently?

I don't know if it's even relevant, but my old '99 did exactly the same thing with the random brake warnings. It eventually took a new ABS unit out of a junkyard to cure it, and a good shop (NOT a dealer) to replace it.

Well I'll throw in a little chime since I'm a dealer tech. If those lights are coming on there is a code in the the system. Probably in the EBCM, ABS, or VSES. Not sure if those code readers most people can purchase can pull these codes. But if you found a way to pull code from these systems I could give you some direction on what to look for. Most 2010 trucks I see with this is a problem with SWPS connector or bad SWPS.

Have the same problem but it's all the time; Traction Control Off, Service Stabilitrak ABS out to lunch. I can't get a code either (HP2.23) which makes this frustrating, everything looked OK down there when I rotated tires. Any other ideas? BTW- does anyone have a truck with the L33.............

HPT & EFI, and most inexpensive OBD2 scanners(under $3000) will only read the PCM/VCM, and the TCM. They will not read the ABS, TCCM, SIR, BCM, etc. And that is why all of you are not finding any DTC's when you scan for them.
GM Tech2, OTC Genesis, Snap-On Modus, etc, are the scan tools that you will need to use.

I had this happen to a friends 08, and it was the TB assembly.
I received a letter in the mail quite a long time ago about my 10, and they had mentioned that if I experience going into limp mode and service stabilitrak etc etc that I could bring it in. I wish I kept that letter cause I wouldve scanned it and uploaded it here
