It is night and day, but then back to day again. That much of a difference... Never liked small subs myself anyway, don't know what I was thinking.

Depends on who's definition... Before I bought my truck I had a 2000 SS Camaro. In said camaro I had no back seats. In the place of those was an 8 ft^3 box with 2 DigitalDesigns 3515's, on a Sundown SAZ1500D. That slammed right there.

Now, I will say there is room for improvement with my amp. I have a db Drive A3 1500.1, which doesn't sound like it is putting out 1500 @ 1 ohm. Next purchases indlude: 2 Yellow Top Optimas, Big 3 Upgrade, then a Rockford T1500bd amp to finish it out. From there it will probably need a highs upgrade in a major way.

I put 2 6'2" guys in there and they fit fine. They had good posture for those who question but I have my own, why didn't GM do this from the start. 6'2" is pretty tall (72" for those who measure that way). Just wondering.

Also for those in the "know", a yellow top optima fits a nnbs 2007+ truck with no mods. Pics to follow tomorrow...

Very nice setup, I like how you can go back to stock at anytime. This winter I was thinking of trying my hand at building a fiberglass box, just not sure what I want for subs yet. Always rocked 10's (have two JL 10W3V2's right now sitting in a closet).

Two 12's sounds much more appealing though....

Default Optima Yellow Top Pics!!!!

Here it is. Optima D34, and it fits wonderfully. My module for my electric steps even fits over the battery still! NNBS Silverado and Sierra trucks will surely benefit from this.

I also upgraded the "Big 3" with some 2/0 forklift battery cable my stereo guy had laying around. This setup really helps for voltage drop and recharge.

You could get away with at least another inch of mounting depth. Where there would be holes cut for the magnets of the subwoofer, is the underside of the seat, and that can push up at least another 1-2 inches.

Rockford T1 12- 6.75" mounting depth

Technically, as long as the subs you put in aren't required to have more than 3ft^2 of air, you could have some solid subs!!!

New method. They come with one end bent, and the other straight like an "L". Had to bend it into a flat "U" shape. No drilling as it has both holes, and once the other end is bent over the holes line up. Almost to hold a 2x4, in the electrical box to 2x4 section of Home Depot. Every time I do this it is all new.PM me with any questions.

Same hardware, 1/2 inch with lock washer and nut, but on all eight bolt downs.

More pics soon.
