Awesome looking truck.. That is the drop i have been concidering the most.. Do you know if he has any issues with the drop? Bottoming out, rubbing or anything.. I am concerned that while the drop looks sick it would be so low that on rough roads it may have issues. Granted my truck has never seen gravel roads and will not be used for anything but grocery getting and the occasional drag race. I am also concerned that it has to tow as well. I guess bags will help that..

Anyway thanks for the pics.. Helps make my mind up

Keep them coming...

On a normal "good" road, he has no issues. Its just when he gets onto most of the county roads around here. I have pretty much the same issues. But you have to realize you can't drive your truck the same as you use to because of it being lowered.

The best advice I can give is to do a notch if you do a 4/7. I know people "say" you don't need one but for the BEST ride possible, I would do one. It just gets old hitting frame after a while.

I even have helper bags on my setup and it still does it.

I am used to the notch thing, was kind of planning to make a set of extra heavy notches and installing them.. Just to keep it from doing it ever.

In a former life i used to build air ride trucks.. Small trucks but none the less.. and they had the mother of all notches most of the time.. I would do air ride on this truck but air ride without a body drop isnt my cup of water.. and i dont want to make the truck unreliable.

The White one barely looks lowered. IMO that is how they should have sat when they came from the plant.. the GMT900 trucks are way too high. Mine is taller than a GMT800 4x4!!! I think my mind is made up, 4/7 is the way to go.. I am going to stay away from the DJM stuff for now, not too keen on buying and then swapping to moog ball joints.. But if illMATTic will sell me his stuff then all i need is a flip kit and i will be in business!!!

Got my 20's on the way (just until i save for a set of 22's)
Truck will look sick then!!!
