Would be nice if it does have it. I seen guys with 2011's and 2012's say they had 14 bolts. Then a 2009 owner say he had a 10 bolt lol.

One more thing how is the AWD system in the trucks? My 2004 was a 4x4 with the auto/4HI/4LO.

Won't be beating on and "muddin" it like my old truck, just curious how they are in snow. We've been getting some pretty good snowfall this winter and there was a period i couldn't even get up my culdesac in my 5 speed Honda Fit for a couple days. Trust me i tried many times haahahhaa That was i think 8" of snow.

Looks like one of you guys is from IL and other from Ohio so you would experience the same kind of weather.

My 2011 Sierra SLT had the NHT package and 14 bolt.

Not sure about AWD, that was the reason I didn't get the Denali, I wanted the option to be 2hi, 4hi .....

I have to ask are you positive it's not a 10 bolt. Sometimes GM is wierd though .

AWD Denalis NNBS have 10 bolt rears , mine does . The 2wheel drive versions have the 14 bolt .

Btw how many of you guys are actually breaking rear ends or building huge enough power to break a 10 bolt honestly ?

Like I said in other thread the 99- up 10 bolts hold up well , they have larger bearings than the older models basically like a 12bolt .
Over 600rwhp on a 180k+ 10bolt in my truck , lots of drag racing and no probs what so ever . 4x4 / AWD helps them live .

Omg going from a Vette to a honda fit , I can't even imagine that

I don't drive my truck when the salt flies that's why I have a work vehicle , but I have driven around my back field area in the snow and the AWD works great even with street tires , I'm sure it will be fine on shitty roads , I like the AWD just as well as my 4wheel drive stuff .

HAH yea it's alright. it's a good daily get 35-40mpg all the time.

Yea i'm sure the AWD system is good enough for a decent snow fall.

Guy buying my car sent me a picture of the check today so one step closer

We just got 5"+ of snow yesterday hoping he can still come get the car this week with his truck and trailer.

I think the 2012 is a better deal, it has half the miles and is two years newer. That goes a long way in selling an expensive truck. If you plan to keep the truck forever then buy the 2010. Otherwise the resale/ trade value of the 12 with fairly low miles is going to be a better deal. I have a 2012 Sierra Denali AWD with 20,000 miles, and have looked at trading the truck in at several different dealerships, so I feel like I have reasonable idea on the value. This is just my opinion however.

Ended up getting the 2010 today.

Truck is CLEAN!!!!!! the sales manager actually knew the last owner well and said he was a older guy and buys all his stuff there. Interior is near perfect and outside is dent free and undercarriage was also clean.

The last owner Tinted windows in front to match the back and looks like added the rear inner bed splash kit unless the denali came like that?

Ended up getting it for 27k asking was 28,500.
