I pulled mine off but kept them, figured I could allways put them back on. They are just like the old ones whereas they just have the 3m stuff around the edge...not full tape like the tailgate bowtie.

now you guys got me thinking about pulling the molding off...i say go for on you truck seeing how everything has been removed

I dont think you should... These trucks lack body lines and it would look naked without the moldings, especially with a light paint color like yours....

I personally think the molding looks strange because its just a piece on the door, now if it continued onto the bed then maybe leave it.
