Can some with tell me how the DOD works?? I know if I get a tune I can get it turned off, I can tell when the truck goes into V4 vs V8 mode,anybody have any real issues with it?

AFM = some trickery that i dont believe was worth the hassle. 8 lifters collapse and the fuel/spark is trimmed off the corresponding cylinders. You can turn off AFM in the tune with HPtuners, EfiLive etc. But the crazy mechanical weirdness is still spinning around inside your engine. It'll probably be okay at this point as most of the issues were when newish ( overactive lifters and whatnot ) but if you ever go modding for more power?

Pop the heads off and swap all that garb out for normal. Lots of threads/info on how to do this.

I still have the power train warranty till October 2015, so I guess I would wait till that is up and then swap it over or just get a hold of a tuner and get it turned off.

Just be sure to save a copy of your stock tune or even better, load it up to the tune suppository for safety in case you ever need it back to 100% stock.

Level kit was just done, and I got the AFM disable plug in coming for it.

level kit pic soon, rides a lot better now it seems, didn't touch the torsion bars.

Anybody get a oil smell sometimes? is that common? lvl hasn't moved on the stick.
