Painted Front Bumpers

I have no idea why the description says that. Only thing I can think of is its referring to the big oversized Z71 lettering on the truck because its for the "Z71 plus" package.
Dont worry it has no lettering on it.

I talked to a local PC shop and they said they couldn't blast away the chrome to bare metal because when you try to peel that chrome off with the blaster it will eat away at the metal and leave a low spot. Can be fixed though. They would have to 'etch' the chrome and PC it, but won't guarantee it. Is this what happened to anybody else who had theirs PC'd?

Cool...Thanks for the info. How long ago did you paint? Any bad chips so far?

I suppose a clear bra type material on the front bumper would keep it looking new longer...

i'm pretty interested in doing this to my truck.. i want that chrome section color matched.. What are other options other than sanding it down and have it it PC'ed..?

I paid $50 at a local shop to have my old chrome bumper sand blasted down for paint

if you get the LTZ it comes painted. if you have a chrome one and want a painted one, just paint the chrome

What are you guys doin for the rear bumper? I have an 07 NBS LTZ with the body color front and wanna paint or PC my chrome rear bumper to match. Can you get a paintable rear bumper for the NBS trucks?
