Default NNBS Noob Under Pulley Set Questions

Okay I have searched and found a couple of names for under drive pulleys so I got onto JEGS and Summit to look into purchasing them so I can swap them in when I do my cam package, dod delete, etc.

Can anyone who has changed these on a newer style truck tell me what brand they went with?

Also I remember on the older pulley swaps we did there was a couple of pullies (crank, alternator, etc) that were changed out, but what I am finding for the newer trucks it appears that only one pulley is changed out?

PM me links or post them up if they don't compete with a vendor or what ever please so I can get these purchased.

Many thanks!

Okay thanks.

I located several people carrying this SLP UD Pulley, part # 100230, cheapest is $179.95 and it includes new bolt.

Looks like I will need to purchase 2 new belts as well.

Thanks for your help, again.

2 belts is correct but IMHO, go to the parts store and get the A/C tensioner for a 05 5.3 with 2 bolts 10x1.5mm 2-2.5" long i cant remember and get the AC belt for a 05 5.3 also. your stock AC belt has to be CUT off. the newer AC belt im telling you to get and the tension allows you to have a belt that you can install easier.

as in "new A/C belt" i mean the new belt that is used with a UD crank pulley and/or ALT overdrive/underdrive ALT pulley.

ThunderRacing sells them
