Default NNBS killswitch

Anyone ever install a kill switch for the starter or fuel pump on a nnbs? I am wanting to install one on mine real soon. I am moving to Houston and i am paranoid about my truck getting stolen. Any ideals on how to install something like this or is there something else better out there?

They'll leave the truck all they want is the wheels. Aftermarket alarm with a tilt sensor or have the OEM accessory tilt motion added to your truck at a dealer if you are not wanting a alarm. Best thing to do on these is interrupt power to the fuel injectors. Breaking any other circuits will usually cause a code to be set because the pcm sees a condition it shouldn't when commanding a function to happen.

Is there a relay for the fuel injectors that i could wire a switch to? So your saying if i wire a switch to the fuel pump relay it will throw a code?

Our provincial government forced anyone living in Winnipeg and owning a vehicle on their most stolen list to have an immobilizer installed. Both my 04 trucks got them. Mastergard Enterprises Inc. The wires are all black and unmarked, and installers are supposed to vary how they route the wires.

Fuel injectors not the fuel pump. Break the pink wire at the valve cover connector a few inches back in the harness. If you have autostart sucks though as it's useless then. I used to worry bout same thing when I was younger as I've gotten older I care less cause it's got full coverage. If they want it it's all theirs just upgrade whatever they take.

Ya, no auto start so I'm good. Im sure if i told my insurance i had over 8K in performance parts my rate would go way the hell up. Its already high enough on a stock truck with me being 21. Hell, they are charging my $200 a month on a "stock" 98 camaro lol. For sale by the way. 98 Z28 Camaro (forged lq9) - LS1TECH
