I'm surprised how many dig the trim in black with the chrome grill... I think it helps that it's something different and that it's not been done a million times already.

After looking at the layout upclose, it's not as easy as just taping off the mesh and painting it, looks like it would take a bit of intricate tape work to mask it off correctly.

I still vote for the last one I posted... Maybe I'll talk to a few more painters that I know and see what they have to say about painting it.

i did the painted trim on chrome and i loved it on my white denali, but like someone posted that its easily chip is correct. by the end of its life the bottom grill and top grill had a lot of chips on it.

im looking to do the same on my now black one.

as for another option on the black grill and so it does not chip you can buy an already black one that was not chrome.

That's it, I need to install the lower billet grille on my truck. I don't remember the last time I used the tow hooks anyways.

Also need to clear my headlights...

There is a black Denali like mine at a business next to one of our Fire stations. He had a a custom made billet grill all murdered out and supposedly pushing around 850hp but the guy was a dick when I walked over to ask him about it. Hope he doesn't need any of our services.

I hate it when people are dicks when you ask about their trucks...
