$60 for the ext cab and i think the dealer said it was a little over $110 for the crew cabs.

Ok good so I my memory was serving me correct about the $80.00 for the handles and install.

I know this is an old thread but why start a new one?! I just bought these handles and I need to know if I need special tools to take off the door panels and if this can be done in the driveway. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Hey, thanks for the link. Theres one problem, I do not have the 2nd grab handle, power windows, mirrors or doors. So removal of the panel will be a lil different, I assume.

Are the chrome handle covers I see on ebay total crap?? Isn't that pretty much what the OEM handles are anyway?

OEM chrome handles are like the grille; "chrome" painted plastic. For something you touch at least once a day I would go for durability over cost.

OEM handles have a warrenty with them. The covers are just that...covers. they also dont cover the back of the handle, only the top, plus there stick on and can come off at anytime due to heat, cold, wet, wind or just because they feel like it. Also, you can get the OEM handles for almost the same price as the covers. You might pay $20 more but you wont ever loose them while driving down the road.
