man I ran the truck alot tonight its amazing how it performs. I got some good videos to post tomorrow I completely murdered a single cab hemi and an old 5.0 mustang that called me out and a old turboed ricer and I was spinning and bottoming out the whole time lol traction is a HUGE issue right now.

That setup should run mid to low 13's. My old crew cab 4.8 ran 8.9 1/8 which would be a 13.9-14.0ish 1/4 with just bolt ons and a converter/dr setup. Congrats man! I do think you are going to need more converter to get a great short time though...I would be suprised if your setup pulls any better than a 1.9, but overall this should be a great running truck!

Here is a good comparison, I donno what his short times are though. Based on his mph he's probably cutting some high 1.7-1.8. Just to give you some encouragement =)

haha I saw that video last year right after I bought my truck and thats where I got the idea for all the stuff I got. he has a 3600 stall I believe and 4.10's. he did 13.7 on motor and 12.7 on spray thats damn good.

Your truck is going to run good I bet allenp at the track. The circleD 278mm is a good budget friendly converter. With what Rhino is saying, Later on if you upgrade converters a 9.5" or a 10" would help you get off the line much quicker and shave off a few more tenths at least and really impress you.

I am looking at converters myself.
FTI in Florida and PTC converters out of alabama could probably make you a 9.5" or 10" converter for around $500 or less depending on upgrades and stall speed. I have researched and looked around for days and they have good deals for our trucks with a smaller than 278mm unit.

LS1 camaro guys over at ls1tech run the PTC converters with no problems and they are very affordable. I noticed it's hard contacting some companies atm though because of the holidays, but I will probably go with PTC or FTI.

truck looks good Allen. Good luck. I was trying to spray off the line on slicks and was spinning the rims inside the tires. My own fault off road wheels and slicks.
