I still think they are inflating the numbers by a good bit. I tried close to 9k behind mine rated at 10,500 and it didn't like it at all. Next haul was the same, but with a big block truck with less of a tow rating and it didn't care 9k was behind it. Maybe it's just me, but I don't want to listen to a 6.2 turn over 5,000 rpm on every little hill.

Interesting link. Build and price only shows 3.42 gears and that's it. Maybe they will have 3.73....... not that it really matters. 4.10 or deeper and now we are talking.... And a real truck chassis built to hand......... oh yeah, buy a 3/4 ton. 16700 GCW is more than a 2500HD built through the 2007 model year with a 6 liter was allowed to tow. Putting that weight over a half ton truck..... yeah no thanks. I don't care how much horsepower it has. Sure the brakes are bigger now but still.....

Well now we know what is up with them not so good numbers. I will wait till someone does a 5.3 in 4WD with NO traction control.

I got to say though the one thing I am SHOCKED no one is talking about is the direct injection. Did anyone see them stock compression ratios for regular gas let alone something like premium or even e85? I personally think these engines make ours look like a carbed engine did when fuel injection came.

The new package NHT (now with 5.3 too) includes a 3.73 gear. So tempting.

Nope, I'm with ya. Looks like a 16 year old designed them with a smatozone brochure.

Anyone notice (from the link above) that the 6.2 is only available in the ltz or high country trims for 2014????

I'm hoping that I read that wrong because that would mean 40-50k+ for a new 2014 with the 6.2.
