a lot of changes coming up. Putting Bilsteins on the truck and leveling it. Also got new foot steps, the oval black ones, painted black door handles, painted black mirror caps, black grille (think All Terrain).\

Trying to figure out where to find the hood trim piece in painted black, the chrome upper bumper in painted black and the rear bumper end caps in painted black.

Did u try the blow out I suggested. I reall think it will help the power issue. As for the loose steering its a different set up

Congrats on the new ride, that's a good looker!

Do you know what gears were in your old truck and in the new one? I test drove a lot of '11 trucks when I was shopping for mine, and there is a WORLD of difference between the feel of a 5.3 with 3.42 gears and 3.08s (cough, cough, gutless ...) in otherwise identical trucks.

Nice ride tho. My truck had 3.08 and my friends has 3.42s. I could barely tell a diffrence. I change to 4.11s and now its a beast compared to the way it was.

I just filled the tank on 87 octane so I have been driving more aggressively to burn it off quicker so I can put some 93 in it. WOT its got some guts, but its the stop light to stop light and putting around in traffic where it feels like a slug. Im sure a tune would fix it but Im not spending that kinda money until I get a few mods under my belt.

I think the truck has 3.42 gears according to the GU6 RPO code in the glove box. And it has the Z71 suspension, and i even have the steel skid plates so that was nice.

Im looking at Hellwig front and rear sway bars to see if that will help with the side to side motions. and my Bilsteins should be going on this week.

The sway bars will be a good investment. I bet the gears have alot to with the red light to red light problem. You will notice a difference when u give it a good blow out.

anyone know if there were different steering ratio's available among the NNBS?

Im still trying to find a comparison in size between the Hellwigs and the stock Z71.

ok just got back from out of town. drove about 9 hours one way. noticed the steering definately isnt as tight as I like, so some Hellwigs front and rear sway bars are on the to do list.

power output cruising or getting up to speed in the 1000-2000rpm is crap, its like a dead spot.

also cant wait to put new Bilsteins on.
