I want my CC silverado be the same power as those new denali's I raced my cuzin's on the weekend he got an outlaw and a corsa touring and I'm only hp tuned

raced him he was infront of me for approximately 100 meters and im seariously pissed off so what do i need to be the same power as his. besides cams and a S/C


I got an s&b cai, magnaflow cats and a TCI shift kit coming on the way. what do i need else?

Good luck. The Denali has 403hp and a 6spd auto.

Not sure whether you have a 4.8 or a 5.3, but you aren't anywhere close to that power. Heads/cam, forced induction, or nitrous

 

100 meters?!? How many Kph did u race up to? What year of CC? Motor? Did ya get rid of Tq Mgmt?

 

My truck is a 08 5.3 we raced till the denali locked at 185 kph and i think i was 170 because i shift to 3rd at 150 and i got rid of the torque managment by about 50 % . When he tops He is giving me like exactly 6 cars lenght

and if I need cams what cams do i need? I want something that gives me more than the 212/218 comp cam.

My truck power is exactly the same as the RC sierra and its hp tuned but i pull from him when we reach exactly 180.

 

Your truck only needs one cam. And its going to need more than just a cam to make 400hp. A cam and a stall and you might beat him in the 1/4 mile.......

 

im going to install the cai ,exhaust and the Shift kit i will retune it and try with him again

I dont think i need a cam because a rcsb sierra with cai, exhaust and a tune stayed behind the denali by 3 cars lenght

 

If a regular can truck with the same engine and mods lost by 3 lengths, your heavier truck will not be faster.
