Default Nav/Temp issues in rearview mirror?

The rearview mirror in my Dads 2011 Chevy is giving some very screwy temperature readings on the temp. display (87*F when it is actually 100*F+).

Anyone have this happen or know how to fix it?

Check the sensor. Believe it's on passenger side next to radiator.

My temps are on my DIC. My mirror only shows my backup camera.
What kind of truck is it?

07 and 08s had it in the mirror, pretty sure it moved to the DIC starting with model year '09.
