Hey what were you running when you motor gave out? I was running a 2011 GT500 with a dead cylinder half way through the run and still pulled away by 2 lol.

Im pretty sure the engine was done on the last run with the 5.0 mustang. It was missing on the SS run and it didnt feel to pull as hard.

There was an old theory that the oe intake manifold air flow caused a lean condition in #5 or 7 cylinder under boost and it would cook pistons, valves etc.
It seemed that radix blowers didn't have this issue as there was a different intake manifold that came with the blower.
The same would apply to the newer tvs, whipple etc, they come with a new intake
Turbos and Prochargers seemed to have this kind of failure
