I have the same function over form attitude. When I switched from 22's to 17's the difference was huge! Not only lighter but the smaller tire added to the gear. Instantly felt like 30+ hp. I've never seen a real race car run 22's.....wonder why??

3.42 or 3.73? Either way you should be melting those tires......

If I leave traction control on ya it hooks but if I turn traction control off I will smoke them tell I hit 50.

You AWD?

I'm 2wd with 3.42's hopefully soon to install 4,11's.

Im sure the only reason they would be running that big of a rim is because of the brakes. I feel the bigger wheels are over rated. I would never go bigger than a 20" wheels again. I feel bigger wheels are more for show cars than for hotrodding. But hey, that's just my opinion.

They just need to come out with some lighter ones that arent so damn expensive lol.... but lighter is always better if performance is what your after. not bling blinging lol...

I am thinking 18's will fit the bill perfect when I decide to get custom rims. I might get 20's if I can find a good deal on some SS rims.

Either way would still run the 17's or 18's at the track.
