Thanks...aside from my lowered 85 C-10 which wasnt my daily, this is the only other lowered truck I had. All others were lifted/stock or just shackles. I thought I would like it and it looked good, just didnt ride smooth and wasnt practical for me anyway.

JB, I think you have inspired me to BL mine with some terra grapplers. I just think I can do this in the near future as opposed to the fabtech which would take me awhile (being in College). I just can't think of what to do exactly. There are so many combos out there.
Where did you say you got the BL from? A local shop?
How the hell did you do this by yourself? Did you have an engine hoist or something to lift the bed, etc?
What is the tire size in metric form? I can't decide If I want those or the ATZ's.

Just for reference, I met up with a member of VC this weekend, he has a 2005 with a 7" suspension and 3" bl with 35x12.40x17 and we were the same height.
I got the kit local but Jameson said he called the online store direct from BDS and they told him $349 + shipping which is about what I paid.
All you use to jack up the body is a floor jack and an 18" piece of 4"x4" post or landscape timber (just put it straight up to bed floor/cab floor. Loosen all bolts/remove bolts from one side/jack-up that side just enough to put spacers then install bolts loose. Then go to next side/remove bolts/jack-up truck body/install spacers and bolts and remove jack. Tighten bolts and thats done.
The tire size is 305/70/17 but it had the tire sticker on the tread and that said 34x12.50/17 and thats what they measured. I think MT ATZ has the same size.
With the ccm level kit and 3" body lift I got 5.5" lift for less than $500.
Print out the instructions....its not bad.

The BDS kit comes with black powder coated one piece bumper brackets. They also give you a template for the tow hooks. What you do is flip them upside down, so you have to use the template to drill one hole on the other side of the frame.
May sound crazy, but I used my body side moldings I removed from my doors for the gap gaurds...lol...They had been sitting on a shelf in the garage for a year. Oddly enough they were the perfect length and width...I just sprayed them flat black and used a few self tapping screws.
I'll measure tonight...whats yours?
