Default Moisture/Water in the Taillights

I did a search and didnt come up with much, not sure if the search feature just sucks or it hasnt been brought to much....

I am getting moisture in my Tailights and it driving me crazy. Does it get in around the bulbs?

Question 2 is how do I get them apart to clean them out?

Are you guys running/talking about stock tails? I bought some LED tails off Ebay and a couple of my LEDS have already went out on my drivers side. I wash my truck alot and wondering if moisture isnt the culprit of my problem. Everything involving lights that Ive bought off Ebay has got condensation in them and essentially ruined them. I would drill a small hole under the housing like mentioned above. Let some air in there to dry it out

I just checked mine and no moisture at all. 2011 fwiw. But im posting because I have had this problem on other cars and the best fix I came up with was to pull the light out and seal all the vents up with silicone. One of my cars got wet so bad in the lenses that the chrome finish would lift off but after sealing them up with silicone? Never had an issue since. If you cant find vents then just run a thin bead around all the seams

my '10 chevy with stock taillights has no issues, maybe the gmc lights have a different vent setup.
