The rear section of the frame is Beefier for more towing capacity. And the obvious larger engine option and 4l80e, bigger breaks, bigger rearend, and the HD will have a Hydroboost break setup.

It's a completely different truck, front to back, torsenbar front suspension, 10.5 or 11.5" rear end. 6L90E not 6L80, diesel get the allison, uses a clutch driven cooling fan, hydroboost brakes, cab is different to fit the allison and duramax, different front end, 9.5" front ring gear vs 8.5", bigger CVs, different front wheel bearings.
