Default Magnaflow Exhaust

I know its been asked a million times before, "whats the best muffler...."

I've always ran magnaflows on my previous trucks, had one on my 5.3 dumped at the axle and sounded great.

I'm currently driving a 2008 sierra denali with the 6.2, I know from a performance perspective the stock system flows enough but I'd like a little more sound out of it.

The local custom exhaust shop recommended going with the 22" long 3.5" in/out magnaflow and cut out the factory resonator.

I tried looking for soundclips on youtube, but I'm wondering if that will be too much bark. Again, that's eveyones individual opinion.... So does anyone have a soundclip of a 6.2 with a magnaflow with or without the resonator?

The shop said they would do it all including the muffler for around $400, which seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Also, will their be any drop in low rpm torque with a more free-flowing exhaust? There's a Airaid MIT tube in my near future and I'm planning a BlackBear autocal tune once they've both been done.

Thanks for the help!

Default

5.3 but I have magnaflow

when I was running shorty headers I loved my magnaflow, it droned ever so slightly on the highway but even wind noise almost covered that up or radio
THEN I added long tube headers...now I get terrible drone, ill probly be adding a "bullet" / resonator before the muffler
