Ok, so tonight i decided to put a cold air intake on my L76. When I was putting it all together i accidently dropped the MAF on the cement. I was sitting down when i dropped it so it didnt fall but like 2 ft if that, but it hit pretty hard. I looked it over and didnt see anything wrong with the sensors or any cracks in the plastic or nething so i figured it to be ok. I got everything mounted up and took it down the road and the first thing i noticed was the sound of the intake, Sounded great. I could feel a little more power, but nothing significant. I then wanted to see how it performed out the hole. I then turned off stabilitrack and traction control and brake launched it. It spun a little bit and everything went fine. I let off of it and started driving it regularly and noticed it was shifting extremely hard at regular acceleration as if it were in fail safe mode. I pulled back into the driveway and popped the hood and checked to see if the plug came undone from the MAF sensor, it hadnt. I unplugged it just being curious and noticed that the rpms didnt change at all which leads me to believe it may be the the MAF sensor may have gone bad when i dropped it. Also for some reason, which i think is a whole seperate issue, my service traction control and stablilitrack light came on and flashes.
If any one has any ideas of had the same problem please help. Tomorrow i will perform the tap test while the truck is idiling to see if the voltage frequency changes, but thats all i can think to do.. PLEASE HELP
