Yes, it is very sluggish down low and it does hurt fuel mileage.

 

Have you had any issues with your idle?? I did the same swap with almost the same mods you have and cannot get the idle right??? Tuner shows the O2s dropping to almost nothing at idle but are perfect in throttle? Any ideas would be a huge help!!! Your right low end is a little slow but the mid & high is a huge difference vs a buddies w/o cam!!

 

other than maf work with fuel trims. nothing major is needed.

My truck idled fine after the ls9 cam swap. i drove it for a day before even getting tuned for it and it idled just fine. My tuner didn't seem to have any problems with it either.

 

yepo, that i did. the guy that bought it loves it. see it every now and then actually.
