Lowering a NNBS CC 4/6" 24" rims
#1
Hello all,
I am looking to lower the truck 4/6" but dont want to run into issues running 24" rims. Maybe a 285 tire.
I haven't picked rims yet but what offset would be needed to achieve such goals?
I dont know much about which kit to use ie a flip kit vs leaf springs, etc.
Any help on what kit I would need including any rear shocks would be very helpful.
Please let me know if I will need shims which whatever kit is recommended
I wont be doing any towing so thats not an issue

Mine is a 4/7 on 24s, with a 295-30-24 tires. It will only rub the inner fender liner on the front if I hit a big rut or dip, and I did have to roll the lip of the bed sides in the back.

Kingpin, and MANY people said with CC and EC trucks on even 26s do NOT rub. Funny. I've been asking for damn near a year what I could do, as far as a drop. I have 295/35/24s and I am going this weekend to buy a 4/7 drop for my EC.
I've asked almost everyone...whats better, control arms, or spindle/springs for the front. Funny thing is...if they own it, its the better. LOL.
Looks like I'll need a place to go this weekend to drop my truck as i cant do it here at the apartment. LOL.

Damn I am wondering the same thing....
so a 4/6 will rub not a 3/5 on 24's - appears this answer is yes
Could someone post a link to a kit that would drop the truck 3/5? Spindles...or control arms...
I have no idea what is better or what kit is needed...
Shims? Shocks?
Any help guys would be great
