Lowering 08 Sierra Denali AWD
I have a friend wanting to lower his 08 Sierra Denali AWD 2-4. He has been told these trucks give problems when lifting them. Can he do a 2-4 with no problems from the AWD.

same as a 4wd. I'm 3/5 and only had a few minor tweaks after the drop to get it perfect. PM ssierra08 to get a price on whatever height you want to go with.
I did spindles and strut relocators in the front, Flip kit shocks, shock extenders, rear spring hangers, 2 inch lift shackles and 6 degree shims to get it dead nuts perfect at 3/5 height.
My only semi gripe is a minor loss of turning radius but that is due to the spindles. I'd rather have it lower and loose a bit of turning radius.

No issues that I have noticed. I went with belltech struts up front for -2 and then belltech shackles, block removal, and belltech shocks in the back for -3 and I am very happy with it.
Not sure that I would go with -4 in the back without notching the frame as I have cut down the bump stops a good deal and still have some minor bottoming issues.
