i hate the online bulb charts, they always disagree with each other.

one place i looked said 3047 bulbs were used in the brake and reverse lights. why would gm use a dual filament bulb in a reverse light?

i am looking at a set of these for the tailights:
3047 red led

and these for the reverse lights:
921 led bulb

You know, the only place I recommend looking at bulb replacement guides is Sylvania's site. Most of the time they tell you the interior and exterior bulb number and if your driving an OBS they will tell you the bulbs for the dash and cluster too. Those 3047 red bulbs should be stupid bright! 41 5050 smd chips?! the 5050 is one step under the ones that i have under the hood. Those also seem a bit long, and $331 HA-HA. i think someone didn't put the decimal in the right spot... or is on some pretty good drugs. Those reverse bulbs are what I plan on getting, as those are CREE. i think that uses the same LED as the 1200 lumen flashlight i have, in which there's a reason the led body is also a heat sink, that tiny diode puts out gobs of light ha ha. i will take some pics of the strips on my break, of course this is the day i didn't think i needed my usb cable for my phone so I will upload when I get home.

actually, its pretty much this(i feel jipped, i could have bought 2 spools for the price of one package retail) New 5M Waterproof 5050 300 LED SMD White Flexible LED Lamp Light Strip Car Auto | eBay

Thinking about getting the cree reverse leds. What do you all think about the led H11 light that vleds.com is coming out with? Kinda tired of my hids going dull on me.

All of the H11's i see on their site are not even that bright. the average 6000k 35w hid puts roughly 43-4400 lumen. the highest output led is 2119 lumen so personally its good if you have a daytime running light. I love my 55w hid 6k because I never get flashed, it looks like it belongs on the truck, its not obscene and i can see perfectly where it counts most which is in front and on the side. I also have 6k fogs hid going in probably later this morning so that will help me even more. Now, what I think is bad *** is what BMW is doing for laser headlights. google that one. But, How are your HID's going dull? i had a kit for 2 years, and while that isnt long for a bulb, i had no issues what so ever besides flicker from one ballast, and that was mainly my fault of not a full clicked connection. hehe speaking off topic for a moment, you know those house lamps that take the 250-500 watt halogen tube bulbs? ive had the original bulb in this lamp that i use daily for literally 13 years. the bulb is blackened, dust burned to it and that bulb is dimmed, but im sure it wasnt from the blackened glass haha or dust. Honestly, HID bulbs are cheaper than regular bulbs. i bought a pair for 20 bucks. H11 bulb single package OE sylvania cost 14. just my .02 cents

The spool of led strip is coming in the mail today. so pending this weekends' festivities/parties i will probably have the bed lights done. I might actually use the left over strip for my bike, like a hood light. Anyhoo, enjoy and sorry it took a bit to upload them. AUTOT3K, i love my 55w 6k lows, have yet to install the 35w 6k fogs, theyre sitting on my desk at home.
