sorry for the shaky pics... The led strips were bought at advance auto parts. They are called MAX LED. 2 12" strips. they use the 5053 SMD led and these pics do no justice but for the strips size, im getting so much light that the street even lights up. i literally can see everything I need to under my hood without a flash light. I am definately putting this type of strip under the bed rails, but will get the 5053 smd led spool from ebay for the same cost of 2 strips retail The switch snapped into a factory hole on the core support cover too. i did the install when it was like 30 out so the wire was stupid hard to deal with so I will hide the wire when its warm. oh, these lights worked perfect when i steamed my bay. my friend told me now i need to start my boost project so theres a nice centerpiece in there. I need a garage so i can do more auto detailing and save for a Trick system

haha thanks guys. appreciate it. The credit to the idea was from another person I think on GMfullsize. Though he put his both in the center, i figured one under each raised section of the hood to distribute the light evenly.

I agree. I think this means I gotta change my sig pic. ill take some nice pics tonight and change up the sig. I tried to get the part number for you guys off the site but the search function is terrible so i think i still have the packaging. I will try and get the number for you guys.

More than likely ordering the spool tonight.

http://i651.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps3f9bf95e.jpg (This is the only one with flash on. all others have flash off, to show comparison of color change)

I ordered the 5M spool tonight, So with the huge shipping season, I'm sure I won't get it for a few weeks(2-3) but once I get it in, I will install the under bed rails and snap some images as well. I will have roughly 3 feet of the strip left after doing the bed so that may be cut into smaller pieces and used for other things.
