Katzkin or roadwire leather int.

I just asked my dealer about 100% leather Katzkin in my ext cab and they quoted me $1250 installed extra $120 for embroidery. I ordered them with the new style SS on the seat back and red double stitching. Dark Graphite matches the plastic perfactly.

Dammit KC. thats the kit that I want. But they don't make it in an Extended cab. I even called the lady. It would be around 700 for that same setup in an Ext cab, since she would have to special order it.
I watched the video of how to do the front seat bottoms, looks pretty easy. Any tricks or videos to doing the tops and/or center jump seat? The only interior experience I've ever done is remove and replace a leather headrest skin, so any help is appreciated.

Most seat upholstery is gonna be a bit wrinkly at first, but a quality kit will definitely settle in nicely.
I installed 2 Katzkin kits (for customers) and it was usually just time consuming work, not hard at all. I absolutely hate doing interior and wiring work, I'd rather be pulling transmissions and head first in the engine bay, but the overall install was pretty painless and I had few frustrations.
The kits were good quality, but not the greatest I've seen (in terms of automotive upholstery leather), but I still wanted a set for all my own vehicles. This was back in 08' so lots of things could have changed since then.

The center jump seat was the tuffest part for me, by far took the longest. Like others have said, it's not "hard" but it is time consuming and parts of the jump seat can be tricky and you need some patience to make sure it's all tight and lined up before you start stapling. I broke some tabs of the center tray when removing it, but it didn't seem to affect it much when reinstalling. And you need some real short staples for your staple gun. The tops were real easy. The drivers side bottom was pretty tuff because of all the powered crap under it, hard to get the seat to attach properly, but obviously it's posible.

yea the kits arent to bad at all..took me like 3hrs to do my buddies crew cab. but then again this could be because ive done a few dozen. just takes a lil patience and attention to details. and i hate to say it but the dealer mark up on the kits and labor is high. i know we usually do them for $899-$999 installed where i work.
