i did mine the exact same time you did yours! i love it. i got a stainless steel cutout from QTP instead of using a steel one. i highly suggest anyone getting a cutout to get the stainless and make sure you get someone who will take the time to install/weld it in right with the right wire

^^^^ Very true I have the regular steel exhaust cutout pipe and it looks bad and mine has only been on a year. Lucky for me though I have a 304 stainless cutout sitting in my garage waiting to get welded on lol. Best wire I have seen and a lot of the higher end exhaust companies recommend is the 308 filler wire. Should weld badass and last a lifetime.

Anyone have a link on where you can buy a stainless steel one of these?
How does it sound when it's opened up? How would it sound on a stock 2009 5.3?

Jegs has some stainless cutouts for sale for around I think $60 and as for a stock 5.3 with a cutout I can take a video of my buddys 2010 gmc 5.3 completely stock with just the cutout.

amazon...thats where i got mine. QTP 3.5" stainless steel cutout. think i paid 50 shipped.
