Be honest; you're totally jealous of Phantom's 4.56-ers.

4.56's definitely aren't for the faint hearted lol

I can't wait to get some 3.42s back in my truck so I can cruise at an rpm that will allow me to hear myself think

rj is running on 33s, and so am I, so it might not be so bad. Fun to think about, anyway!

Agreed I would do 4.56s if I was 100% positive I was planning to stay naturally aspirated factory 4.10s would really have been ideal for these tires, but not worth the cost to swap my factory 3.73s out.

Here are some gear/speed charts for the 6L80E:

Ill let you guys know here soon how the 4.10s work out for me. The 100# per corner setup Im running right now sucks with 3.73s. Im hoping the 6L80e and 4.10s changes that, right now it sucks. Got beat tonight by a leveled older body style hemi dodge, damn 70e only downshifted 3500rpm in 3rd

I forgot you decided on 4.10s instead of the 4.56s we were discussing before. I really wish 4.30s were available for our trucks.

Depending on how the 4.10s go I may try 4.56s too. The main problem with 4.56s is that I don't think they will turn enough rpm in 6th while towing and 5th will turn too many. 4.10s will net me around 2500 in 5th which will be perfect for towing while 6th will net me around 2000 which should be good for unloaded cruising. The big unknown is just how much gear this thing will need to counter the heavy *** rolling stock. Even turning more rpm it may get better mileage due to less load. At that point though I think I may just add a 4" crank and gain some low rpm power that way since the motor has almost 130k on it, might as well refresh it with some good, goodies

Too true. I forget; are you close to 33s like me and Phil? That extra weight and diameter could definitely use the help, although I still maintain that somebody needs to cut us some 4.30s.

Im running USA standard 4.56s in my 09', and there quiet. Running Tom's 4.10's on my 03' and they wine a bit at 65mph, but not much.
