imma have to look into that. i wanna run caltracs after i swap engines.

no the most ive ever towed with my CC is my Fat Azz around lol.

imma have to look into the 6" flip kit an a 1" lift shackle if my idea of a longer shackle doesnt work out. on our trucks the hangers are welded onto the frame vs the older style of rivets

flip kits are 7" on the 07+'s. A few companies make rear lift hangers(same concept as a shackle flip used by offroad guys), which you can add different length shackles to achieve different heights. You're able to get a 6"-2" drop depending on which mounting position you mount the hanger, and which length shackle you run. McGaughys, Belltech, and DJM make them.

I have a flip kit and hangers on my truck. mine is a 2/5 drop and it rides like stock and sits level. I will have caltracs on this weekend

he used rear hangers(the ones your shackles mount to). They are rivited to the frame. Blow the rivits off with a torch, and bolt up the new hangers.

What I did for my drop was Belltech adjustable struts up front at about a 1.5" drop, out back I extended the factory shackles 3.75" longer(2" drop shackles are 3" longer than stock), removed block and overload leaf.

i dont want to break the leaf pack apart. my 01 ECSB swayed very bad at 80+ bc of me pulling a leaf. thats just too much work for me to pull the rear end for a leaf then hate that i cant run my truck an have to put
it all back together.
i also assumed he meant the hanger(the first hanger by the fuel tank) not the rear shackle hanger.
i was thinking of buying another set to cut up an extend an try it that way if it doesnt work im not out but 30.00 lol

the rake look is starting to grow on me like an old race car...they always had rake an i couldnt stand it...but its not as bad anymore

My Ground Force leafsprings came with the truck when I got it. Im not sure if its the Ground Force leafsprings or GF lowering coils that you cant buy anywhere?

I would go with the flip kit if I were you.

yeah 7" flip kit 100-250 i dunno what they run so dont quote me
i was checking out the lift hanger thats 250 roughly by DJM

id have 700-1000 just in the rear end. id rather put that into my gears or even into my motor. i can live with the rake until im done with the HP adders and fixing broken parts
