Thanks guys. Unfortunately the truck has been in South Texas since the second day after I bought it and pulled that trailer. I've been in West Texas working, but I finally get to go home and drive it again on Friday. I will be bringing it back with me after the holiday, since I will be flying back and fourth for Christmas.

Ordered some toys though. A Volant intake with Air scoop, Air-lift leveling bags, Rough Country 2.5" lift, and a in bed tool box. Tires will have to wait till these have a few miles on them. Should have everything installed around Christmas time.

I highly suggest a tow air bag setup too. I have similar setup to what your plans are and putting any kind of weight in the bed and/or on a bumper pull makes the truck squat. It doesn't squat any worse than without a leveling kit but it appears to heavily squat especially in conjunction with the raised front.

I drove to Colorado (3k miles round trip) with my truck completely loaded and pulling a trailer (around 7 or 8k pounds) to sleep in before air bags in the rear and it really screwed up the wear pattern on my front tires plus my lights were all out of whack. I added bags and it fixed everything. Towed about 9500 pounds with it on a bumper pull with no problems (granted weight was distributed better on that trailer).

Truck certainly didn't have a problem with brakes or power through the mountains! Enjoy the truck
