The chrome bumpers are killing me...how much did you spend to get them to match with the rest of the truck?

Are you planning on painting the chrome ones you have or getting the paint to match ones?

I'm hoping the cheapest route would be to sand down the chrome ones I have and paint... I'm game for anything just want it to last...

Three options:
-Scuff the chrome and paint over it. (cheapest) I've been told it doesn't last as long but then again I've seen a guy's 3 year old bumper that still looked pretty decent.
-Buy a work truck bumper and paint it (Cost more but not that much more)
-You can strip the chrome off the bumper but that's not cheap either. (Price wise it's about even with buying a work bumper)

This would last longer than painted over scuffed chrome right?
