A competent independent technician/friend advised that another customer’s '11 OE pads, rotors, shoes and drums were toast by 42,000 miles.
Fearing the worst, got things pulled apart only to find ~50% lining life remaining on both ends.
Adjusting the rears about 15 clicks (!) tighter brought the pedal way up. fwiw
