can anyone tell me how to makke them work i plug them in and the only thing that works is the power lock on drivers switch panel unlock dont work

 

i did this swap on my 2000 silverado 1/2 ton and when i first started it did the same thing if you only changed the harness going to the doors and plugged them in at the juction blocks at the ends of the dash thats the result you will get.

know for the info you want you will need too change the harness behind the dash from a donor vehicle. that harness goes out into the engine bay and plugs under the fuse box. when you change the harness you will want to use the driver side dash fuse box and the passenger side juction block off of the power acc harness. i also used the fuse box under the hood off of the donor vehicle. now i have power everything in my truck even power mirrors.

for an 02 you dont have to change the bcm or have it progrmed thats only on 03 and newer trucks.

hope this helps it seems hard and some what of a head ach but its not too bad and well worth it imo.
on a side note if you havent changed the heater core yet, when you have the dash apart now would be the time to do it.
