If it shift good 201 isnt bad in hot weather. You can flush cooler lines to see if it help. I would lock converter soon after 2gear to help with temp too.

We did a 2011 from 6spd to 4l80 also because the price of a built 6l80

What all is involved in a 6L90 swap and does it offer much increase in capacity? I ask because a SRTA 6L90 from GM is only 2k.

Well drove around in her all day today and temps were 162* max was 171* and drove normal maybe it got hot with all the stop lights I got :/ lol

my temps stay b/t 130-160 with my tru-cool driving mixed city and hwy, although i only have a 4l60e. Kinda freaking me out when you say that your worried about your temps. B4 the trucool it was nothing to see 190-200 degress in the city for me. Hook up my dads 32 foot wellcraft and 220+

Google searched for some charts I've seen posted in transmission shops over the years. I don't know how accurate these really are, maybe some of the trans experts can chime in for you....

I've had the blower and the trucool on the truck for 3 years now and now riding on 24s, I still haven't seen temps over 160 on a hot day. I'm at 44k now and I did have a complete fluid change at 32k...torque converter and all, not just pan and filter.
